Normanhurst Eagles Super League took on Eastwood Saint Andrews in the second round of the GHFA Cup at Christie Park last night (Normo had a bye in the first round).

Normo looked to make an early exit from the competition when they found themselves trailing 0-2 deep into the second half.

In a fantastic comeback, Normo scored in the 84th minute with a goal from Craig Ironside, then in the 88th minute a corner for Normo was bundled over the line (no one quite sure who has claimed the goal) to take the match to extra time. With penalties looming in extra time, it was the 98th minute when Jackson Ferris fed the ball through to Nathan Tanner to slot home the winning goal.

Well done Normo, and onto the third round!
