ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING - NORMANHURST EAGLES FOOTBALL CLUB

NOTICE is hereby given that the Normanhurst Eagles Football Club Annual General
Meeting will be held on Tuesday 31st August 2010 at the Clubhouse, Harris Road,
Normanhurst, commencing at 7.30 pm.

Terry Deacon, stood down as Sponsorship Co-ordinator at the beginning of 2010 season. We extend our thanks to Terry for putting the Sponsorship program in place for the 2010 season. Chris Cummins and Tony Khamis took over the responsibility of joint Sponsorship Co-ordinators. We thank them for filling this role.

A number of Committee members will not be seeking re-election for the 2011 season,
including:

Michelle Smith, Junior Co-ordinator and MPO
Peter Johnston, Coaching and Grading Co-ordinator
Matthew Taylor, Senior Co-ordinator

We extend our thanks and appreciation to these long-standing members of the Normanhurst Eagles Football Club and Committee for the work they have done on behalf of the players and parents of Normanhurst Eagles.

NORMO EAGLES 2010 HONOUR BOARD

Congratulations to the Normo U16/1 team who added to their Division 1 Premiership by defeating Gladesville Ravens 3-2 on Sunday to win the U16/1 Championship. This is the second year in a row that this team has completed the double. Well done players coach, manager and supporters.

The U13/1s were unlucky in the earlier game on Sunday, losing by 0-1 to Gladesville Ravens.

Congratulations are also due to the 10/6s, AA9 and WAA6 who completed Premiership and Championship doubles the previous weekend, and to AA11 for their Championship victory.

Capping off a great year for Normo, the following teams have won honours this season:

2010 Premiers & Champions – 10/6, 16/1, AA9, WAA6

2010 Premiers - G14/2, AA10, O35/8

2010 Champions - AA11

2010 Championship Finalists - 13/1, G14/2, AA10, SLF, O35/4, O35/8

2010 Pennant Winners - 9/8, 9/9, 15/1, 15/4, 21/1

The season has not yet finished for the U16/1s who will be competing in the Champion of Champions competition for the second year in a row. Please keep an eye on this website for notice of their pending games and results.

JUNIOR END-OF-SEASON PRESENTATION

The End-of-Season Presentation for all Normo Junior teams will be held at Normanhurst Oval on 12 September 2010 from 4:00 - 5:00pm.
