Female Football at Normo

Normanhurst Eagles is THE club for Female Football !!

We are proud to be one of only 6 clubs in North West Sydney Football Association to have a Women’s Premier League team.

We have a strong focus on developing female players of all ages and skill levels.

In 2026 we fielded multiple female only teams in every age bracket:

  • Miniroos (U6-U8)

  • Juniors (U9 - U11)

  • Youth (U12 - U18)

  • Senior (Womens All Age, Women’s Over 30s, Women’s Over 40s)

  • Masters (Women’s Over 40s, 9 a side on Friday nights)

  • Women’s Premier League (WPL)

The club is absolutely thrilled to have developed a female pathway from our junior teams all the way through to our senior teams. Once you come to Normo as an U6 you can stay forever!

Many junior eagles are now involved in the WPL Squad with increasing opportunites each season for our girls to look forward to.

We welcome new female players to the club every year, we have friendly teams of all levels and great coaches ready to go.

Those who already play at Normo will tell you that one of the best things about our club is not just the football. It’s the community, being part of a team, and the lifelong friendships that are formed.

From Our Players

  • "Joining a women’s football team, knowing no one - as an inexperienced player for the first time was a big step outside my comfort zone, but Normanhurst Eagles ended up being one of the best decisions I’ve made. From my immediate coach, to the team of coaches, to my awesome and patient teammates, I found a club that genuinely welcomed and supported me every step of the way. As a mum of four, football has been such a fun way to stay active, keep up with my kids and show them that it’s okay to try, stumble and keep going. My family part owns a company, Coolibah Building & Design - and we are so proud to sponsor all the senior women teams at Normo, including the prems!! It’s such a privilege to be part of a club that lifts women up and strengthens our local community!"

  • “Being in the pathway to Premier League makes me feel like my dreams are possible, especially with a club that supports me every step of the way"

  • "Every training, every game, and every teammate at Normo has helped me grow, not just as a player, but as a person”

  • For years, I stood on the sidelines watching the kids play — their confidence grow, friendships form, and love for the game take shape. Eventually, watching wasn’t enough. I wanted to give back, so I volunteered — managing, coaching, helping where I could, and becoming part of the community that makes grassroots sport possible. Three years ago, I finally laced up my boots. And I’m happy. Playing has given me a whole new appreciation for the game — the effort, teamwork, small wins and shared laughs. Even more special is sharing it with my daughter. Involved with her teams alongside her, watching her grow in confidence, and loving the game together is something I’ll always treasure. My son and husband play too, making football part of our family life. Football has given me connection, purpose, friendships, and a sense of belonging. It’s more than a game. It’s a community — and I’m grateful to be part of it
