Difference between 1st team and Squad players

WPL 1st team: You will be registered in the WPL team only, and guaranteed selection in the WPL games each week. You should attend WPL Training on both Tuesday and Thursday nights.

WPL Squad players:  Squad players are promising players at the club who would like a pathway into the WPL 1st team in future years, OR experienced NEFC players who reinforce the squad. You will be registered in your Normanhurst Eagles WAA or Junior team, and you will attend those trainings and games as a priority. In addition you should attend WPL Training on Tuesday and Thursday nights. We will work out your main team's training schedule to fit in with this and consider each player's training load.

Some select Squad players will also be called up to the WPL games where possible.
