CLUB GRADING DAYS FOR ALL MIXED AND GIRLS JUNIOR PLAYERS U9-U18, (PLUS U8 GRADED TEAM)
DATES ARE SUN 8TH, 15TH and 22ND FEB - Schedule is below. Grading times subject to change in case of wet weather.
TRIALS FOR DEVELOPMENT SQUAD ARE INCLUDED AS PART OF THIS GRADING. Please fill out this form if you wish to trial for Dev Squad.
Please read all the information on this page prior to attending the grading sessions.
All grading days are important to attend to ensure players are placed in the correct teams and divisions. Ideally players should plan to attend all 3 days (especially as we may be affected by weather), but at a minimum players should attend two sessions— week 1 or 2, and week 3. Players who can't attend any sessions must email grading@normoeagles.com.au otherwise it could result in players not being considered for the top age group teams if we have more than one team per age group.
U8 GRADED TEAM (“U8 Blue”)
There is a grading session for mixed and girls U8s who wish to trial for a graded U8 team. This is optional. Only attend if the player wishes to trial for the top graded team. All other U8 teams are formed socially. The graded teams will play against other graded teams in the competition. Please complete this EOI if you plan to attend.
Please note:
Players should be registered by Friday 6th February to attend grading
Please arrive 15 minutes before your grading session starts to check in and receive an ID number
Players to bring boots, shinpads, water and wear sunscreen
Committee members and graders will provide supervision of the children on the oval for their grading session
Draft teams will be announced after the 3rd grading day. These teams may change up to the start of the competition.
Last season we had a significant amount of appeals based on information that would have assisted before grading. If there's information that would assist graders regarding your child (anxiety issues etc.) then please complete this form. It is confidential and will only be shared amongst the graders
We won't be accepting any appeals once teams are announced based on information that could have been shared before grading
Please encourage your child to relax and have fun on grading day. Whilst the grading is important, in most cases we have coach feedback from previous seasons to consider as well.

9:20 till 10:05 - Mixed and Girls U9
10:10 till 10:55 - Mixed and Girls U10
11:00 till 11:45 - Mixed and Girls U11
11:50 till 12:35 - Mixed and Girls U12
12:40 till 13:25 - Mixed and Girls U13
13:30 till 14:15 - Mixed and Girls U14
14:20 till 15:05 - Mixed and Girls U15
15:10 till 16:00 - Mixed and Girls U16 - U18
