About The Club
Normanhurst Sports Club Football Division
(aka Normanhurst Eagles Football Club)
ABN 15 125 993 821
Normanhurst Eagles Football Club is one of the largest football clubs in north west Sydney with over 50 mini, junior and senior teams with more than 600 male and female players. Normo Eagles is a family friendly, community based club. We register teams to play in both the Gladesville-Hornsby Football Association (GHFA) and the North West Sydney Women's Soccer Association (NWSWF).
We pride ourselves in providing opportunities for all grades and types of football players, from 5 years young to 50+ years young; from social players to elite standard; girls, boys, mixed, women and men.
Co-op training sessions are held for children aged 5 to 8 during the football season; 120 to 150 children can participate in Co-op Training at any one time. Two volunteers from the committee organise these sessions with the assistance of the participating team coaches; these sessions provide an environment for players to develop and achieve their potential. At NEFC we strive to make training sessions fun. The children learn through team play and cooperation some of the larger lessons of life as well as the basic skills of football.
At the end of each season, at a presentation day hosted by the club, each child receives a trophy to celebrate their year in football. To encourage current and past players and their families to participate in our club, we host an annual "Back to Normo Day" at Normanhurst Oval.
The Committee of Normanhurst Eagles Football Club consists of 22 volunteers (refer club contacts). All coaches and managers for our mini, junior and all age senior teams are volunteers.
