The Normanhurst Super League Reserve Grade side has gone from strength to strength this season. Last Saturday defeated Gladesville Sharks in the Championship Final.

In front of an enthusiastic Normo crowd at Christie Park, Normo took the game to Gladseville Sharks in the early stages, with chances at both ends of the pitch but a stalemate 0-0 at half time.

 

The game continued to move from end to end without result until about half way into the second half, Ryan McMahon collected a deep cross from the right hand side of the pitch, moved back into space just outside the area and drove the ball over the advancing keeper and into the top right hand corner of the goal. Normo continued to attack after taking the lead, frustrating the Gladesville Sharks and running out victors by 1-0. Congratulations to all the Supewr League Reserve Grade players, and that Championship Winners Medal a great reward for the season.
