GHFA have released the following information regarding the washout games from last weekend, and the scheduling of the last Premiership rounds, Championship Finals and Pennant Rounds.

The washed out games from this weekend for Under 9 to P/L will be played on the weekend 6/7 August.   The S/L and P/L will be playing the games from this weekend on the Saturday but will have a game on Sunday 7/8/2011 which was the game scheduled for 6/8/2011.  This draw has been uploaded to the website.

The Under 6/7/8 teams are already drawn up to 13 August so will not play the washed out games from this weekend.

We will now only have 1 Championship Round Robin.   According to our By-Laws, if the Pennant Round Robin is reduced to only one game then that game will be played as a friendly and no Pennant will be awarded.    Providing we do not have any more washouts, and this scenario is where we are at at the end of the competition, could you please ascertain from your teams who would not be in the top four, whether or not they want to play a friendly or not on that day.   If we know in advance then we would not need to do a draw for those teams not wanting that extra game.

I have amended the Finals Info which has been on the website for some time now to take into account this weekend’s washout and am attaching a copy for your information.
