Last Sunday saw 8 Normanhurst teams travel to Hayes Park Galston to compete in the annual Hills Hawks Mini Gala Day. The competition was tough as teams were drawn from wide a field including Manly Vale, Rockdale, Umina, Seaforth, Northbridge, Terrigal and local clubs. A total of 52 teams were competing on the day. Lots of fun was had by all on the field not to mention the off field activities which includes face & hair painting, giant slides, BBQ’s and fairy floss.

The day was very well organised and ran to military precision. The sportsmanship & level of play was a credit to all players. Special thanks must go to the team managers for working closely with me to make the day successful. Read the Full Story
