NORMO IN ACTION
As we head into the business end of the seaon, good luck to all those teams in the running for finals postions! The U12/1 are currently in second position with only a point between them and West Pennant Hills for the top spot, and the 13/3s are continuing their great form from last year on top of the table. The U14/4s are also in with a shot at the premiership, while in the Senior Mens competition the AA3 are second in a very tight top four. Across in the womens competition, the WAA3 and WAA5s in a tight race to the finals, while our O30 Div 1 team have done extremely well to be sitting in third position with a few weeks to go before the semis. Good luck to all the teams out on the park this weekend!
Thanks to Leyan Khamis for sending in the photo of our U6 boys in the Hills Hawks Gala day. The boys had a great time and were successful on the day. They're all fired up for next years event already! Awesome stuff guys!
Last weekend the U12/1s played in the Cougar Cup hosted by Kariong United up on the Central Coast. Started out in foggy conditions, but the boys played with the Normo Spirit to make it to the Semi Finals.
We love sharing photos and match reports with the rest of the club, so please send to firstname.lastname@example.org.
GHFA AND NWSWF MERGER
Over past 18 months the GHFA and NWSWF have been in talks to merge into a single association. The vote on whether to proceed with this merger takes place this month and if successful the new association will be in place for the start if the 2020 Season. Football NSW has also granted in-principle approval for the merger.
There has been a significant amount of time put into ensuring that the merger is successful and that players, teams and clubs under each of the current associations will only see positives as a result. The club committee has been involved in the discussions and support the merger.
More information will follow based on the outcome of the GHFA and MWSWF votes. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact the club.
T3 SCHOOL HOLIDAY PROGRAM
Sunday is the last chance to sign up for next weeks T3 School Holiday Program beginning on Monday 15th July. The program runs over 3 days between 9am and 12pm with a massive schedule including the T3 Mini World Cup. It's a great opportunity with registration through the T3 website.
Normanhurst has had a very strong relationship with our training partner T3 over the past few years and you may have seen Ehsan down at Normanhurst Oval doing some video shooting over the past few weeks. They have pulled together the videos about Normo and T3 and Normo and Girls Football to help promote what we are doing at NEFC and the reasons we use T3.
RESPECT AND FAIRPLAY
The GHFA and NWSWF have been pushing the RESPECT program hard across all levels of football with the aim of improving the level of respect towards referees as well as between players. What is great to see is that in 2019 are close to the top of the GHFA Fair Play table. So far this year across all competitive competitions we have had a grand total of 0 red cards. Let's keep this going!

THANKS TO BIZCOVER AND IC SPORTS THERAPIES!
At Normanhurst we are lucky to have some great Sponsors who come back year after year to support the club. Please, support the businesses that support our club and two of those sponsors are BizCover and IC Sports Therapies.
BizCover's goal is to to give small businesses a fair go. In an industry dominated by big players, time consuming paperwork, lack of transparency and poor service levels they boldly disrupted the market by creating an online service to simplify comparing and buying business insurance from leading insurers.
This revolution allowed them to reduce costs and fees, increase pricing transparency and decrease the hassle of getting insured for time-poor and cost-conscious small business owners.
IC Sports Therapies was established in 1995, and the team practices Sports Therapy using a wide range of techniques (including Remedial Massage, Sports Massage, Physiotherapy, Deep Tissue Massage, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Sports Injury Therapy, Balance Assessment and Correction, and Pain Management & Rehabilitation) at our Clinic in Hornsby.
Visit the Clinic at Suite 6, Hornsby Business Centre, 14 Edgeworth David Avenue, Hornsby, or give them a call on (02) 9477-3103
